• Independent Transactions: We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not inspect, guarantee, endorse, or assume responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, freshness, or accuracy of any items listed on the platform.
• Buyer and Seller Responsibility: All agreements, sales, exchanges, and communications are strictly between the buyer and the seller.

3. Account Registration & Security

• Eligibility: You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence (or have explicit parental/guardian consent and supervision) to create an account and buy or sell goods on cropSell.ca.
• Account Security: If you create an account or log in via third-party services (such as Google), you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your listing details up to date.

4. Prohibited Conduct & Content

When using cropSell.ca, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, inaccurate, or fraudulent listings.
• List illegal items, regulated substances, or items prohibited by Canadian federal, provincial, or municipal agricultural laws, including any food products deemed unsafe under the federal Food and Drugs Act.
• Harass, threaten, or defraud other users.
• Attempt to bypass security measures, scrape user data, or disrupt the functionality of the website.
• Misrepresent the origin, organic status, or quality of home-grown or farm-gate goods.

5. Food Safety, Licensing, and Health Disclaimers

• Home-Grown and Farm-Gate Goods: Because many items listed on cropSell.ca are sold directly by independent growers, backyard gardeners, and local small-scale farms, buyers purchase and consume items at their own discretion and risk.
• Food Handler Certifications & Licensing: While individual municipal and provincial regulations across Canada vary significantly regarding home-grown produce and direct-to-consumer sales, we strongly recommend that all sellers obtain appropriate local food handler certificates, public health unit clearances, or farm-gate permits before offering prepared foods, processed goods, or commercial farm products to the public.

7. Modifications to the Service
